Her academic brilliance has earned her admission to the prestigious Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration, where she<\/p>\n
is pursuing B.Com. (Hons.) in Accountancy with Research.<\/p>\n
Tanushree hails from Baghbazar, where she lives with her family in a small room beside the canal. Her father, Subal Routh, is a daily labourer who works tirelessly to support the household, while her mother, Sumitra Routh, takes care of the family as a homemaker. Despite the financial constraints and the challenges of living in a cramped, underserved area, Tanushree\u2019s dreams have always soared high.<\/p>\n
From the age of 4, Tanushree has been receiving education support from Calcutta Rescue. This support played a vital role in shaping her academic journey, providing her not just with books and tuition, but with a sense of belief in her own potential.<\/p>\n
Tanushree\u2019s elder brother, Soumyajit Routh has also been a part of her support system, encouraging her in her pursuit of education. He is a student of B.Sc (H) 2nd year and has been getting financial support from Calcutta Rescue for his education<\/p>\n
. Together, the family has overcome many hurdles, driven by the hope that Tanushree’s success will one day transform their lives.<\/p>\n
With her strong academic background and unwavering ambition, Tanushree now aspires to become a Chartered Accountant. She is also deeply interested in business, and dreams of building something of her own someday \u2014 a business that not only secures her family’s future but also gives back to the community that supported her.<\/p>\n
